N. A. Christensen established the Morsø Foundry in 1853 on the Danish Limfjord island of Mors. The Morsø Foundry was granted the title of Purveyor to the Royal Danish Court in 1915, when the first Morsø tiled stove was installed at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.
Since August 2016, F&H has been the distributor in Denmark, Norway and Sweden of Morsø cookware - N.A.C. - named for the founder, and outdoor products including the Morsø Forno cast iron stove for outdoor use.
As cookware, cast iron has been 'the new black' right from the start, and it is unique in many ways. Among its unique qualities is that cast iron cannot wear out, and it offers the perfect level of heat distribution at very high temperatures on all hobs: ceramic, gas and induction.
