Morsø

Morsø is known for its cosy cast-iron stoves, but today there are many other Morsø products for the home.

N. A. Christensen established the Morsø Foundry in 1853 on the Danish Limfjord island of Mors. The Morsø Foundry was granted the title of Purveyor to the Royal Danish Court in 1915, when the first Morsø tiled stove was installed at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.

Since August 2016, F&H has been the distributor in Denmark, Norway and Sweden of Morsø cookware – N.A.C. – named for the founder, and outdoor products including the Morsø Forno cast iron stove for outdoor use.

As cookware, cast iron has been ‘the new black’ right from the start. Cast iron is unique in a multitude of ways. Among its qualities is that it cannot wear out, and it offers the perfect level of heat distribution at very high temperatures on ceramic, gas and induction hobs.
